What is a mailing list?
A mailing list is a collection of names and addresses used by an individual or an organization to send material to multiple recipients. The term is often extended to include the people subscribed to such a list, so the group of subscribers are referred to as "the mailing list", or simply "the list".
How many do I get?
Believe it or not, a mailing list can be quite resouce intensive to servers because mailing lists can have many email addresses listed on them causing servers to many multiple connections to remote systems and scanning all of these messages for spam and viruses. Because our priority is to maintain a smooth running system, only our business clients will be able to utilize this tool.
How frequently can I send mail out on my list?
The answer to that question is based on the size of your list. If your list is under 100 recipients, you can mail daily. Above that, you can mail weekly and note during peak usage time 11:00AM-4:00PM. |
